Baby Shower Food Ideas: 7 Quick & Easy Recipes Your Guests Will Love

Who else is tired of making or eating the same old food at showers or parties?  Today I’m sharing seven REALLY GOOD baby shower food ideas.  Of course these can be used at a wedding shower or even a girls night.

A few weeks ago my friend had a baby shower and the food was AMAZING!  It was not only delicious but different.  Not your run of the mill mini sandwiches and fruit salad.  Everything was fresh and light.  I won’t be embarrassed to admit that I went back for seconds on the hummus.

All of us at the table could not stop talking about how original & fresh the menu was. My neighbor Sarah had made all of it and shared her go to recipes. These of course would work for any party or gathering.

Some of the menu items may seem to have really odd pairings but Girl Scouts honor they were delish.

Greek Seven Layer Dip

I am not a picky eater but I was hesitant to try this dip.  The mint leaves were throwing me off.  Don’t let the mint derail you!  I could eat this all day every day with a giant spoon!  Perfect easy and fresh dip.  It was served with naan but would be equally as good with cucumber slices or pita chips.

La Madeleine Pasta Salad

For those of you unfamiliar with La Madeleine, it is a french style restaurant that serves soups, salads and sandwiches.  They make this pasta salad that is to die for.  The recipe says to use cesar dressing.  La Madeleine makes their own cesar dressing but any from the grocery store will do.

I actually had these at a house warming party.  They were savory and addicting.  The platter was cleared within 30 minutes.
