I was asked by Carusele to participate in the #WalgreensBeautyUnfiltered campaign sponsored by Walgreens. Although I have been compensated, all opinions are my own.
Today I wanted to share some of my favorite budget beauty hacks for all of you busy gals out there. I love any skincare products that are multi-functional or offer multiple benefits. At the end of the day I am tired but want to wake up looking refreshed. I also don’t mind cutting my makeup routine in half!
In this post a few months back I talked about multitasking my beauty routine while juggling kids with Walgreen’s beauty. Their products are not tested on animals, and are free from parabens, phthalates and sulfates so I know they are good for my skin. Walgreen’s beauty is also have a killer Buy 2, Get 3rd Free Skincare until 3/3. I scored some razors BOGO too.
BUDGET BEAUTY HACKS
Beauty Hack 1: Fix Dried Out Mascara
I add a few drops of Walgreen’s micellar water to lengthen the life of my mascara. Micellar water is sterile so you are not adding any harmful bacteria into the tube like you would be if you used tap water.
Beauty Hack 2: Exfoliate Dry Legs & Arms
If I am out of body scrub I will use my face exfoliator on my legs, knees, arms and elbows. I also think facial exfoliator is perfect to use before shaving to reduce the chance of ingrown hairs.
Beauty Hack 3: Facial Mist
I used to discount facial mist as a product for high maintenance people. After researching all the different ways to use facial mist, I am hooked. These are all the different ways I use facial mist:
- Refresh your face after a workout
- Hydrate your skin during dry winter months orwhile flying/traveling without messing up your makeup
- Spray facial mist onto your beauty blender to dampen it before applying foundation/concealer
- Spray onto skin to help boost absorption of other beauty products such as moisturizers, retinols, etc.
- Use facial mist to dilute other beauty products
Beauty Hack 4: Products That Do Double/Triple Duty
Walgreen’s Beauty Facial Moisturizer is a beauty hack all on it’s own. It packs a punch by offering multiple ingredients to save you time during your skincare routine. This moisturizer contains all of my favorites like hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and rosehip oil for the most plump, hydrated skin possible.
Talk to you soon!
