Open Back Sweater + Weekend Sales

TGIF People! I have the most amazing open back sweater to share with ya’ll from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, the perfect maxi dress that has finally gone on sale and some great weekend sales going on.  After all, school starts in just a few short weeks and I am more than ready to have structure back in my house.

Last year I missed out on this open back sweater and ended up borrowing it from my friend more times than I can count.  This year I saw it was back and it was the first thing I grabbed.  This open back sweater is called a “sweater” but this top is far from sweater material.  I would say it is more like a thermal top material minus the waffle texture.

This shirt is kind of like a mullet.  It’s business in the front with the turtleneck and flat front.  Turn around and it’s a party in the back!  What I love most is that the slit doesn’t go too high so you can still wear a regular bra.  This open back sweater is the perfect classic top with a little flare.

At this point you can see my hair start to curl.  It was 95 downtown Houston with 90% humidity and the sweat was real.

Family Beach Session- Maxi Dress Sale

A few weeks ago we went with our family friends to their bay house.  We go to the beach almost every weekend because it is 45 minutes away and we have NEVER had family pictures taken on the beach!  I had our friends snap a few at sunset.  Luckily, this gorgeous maxi dress went on sale and I had to snag it.  If you are on the taller side (5’7 and Up) then the regular fit is for you.  If you are under 5’7, I would suggest getting the petite size.
