I know ya’ll are sweating just thinking about fall clothing. Can you believe it will be September in six short weeks! Fall is my favorite time of year and I couldn’t wait to stock up on the best outfit basics during the Nordstrom sale On the top of my list were a great pair of booties and discount denim.
OUTFIT #1
Oh Vince- I know we were married in a past life. He is a man after my own heart when it comes to shoes. The shoe department is the first place I go during the Nordstrom Sale and these basket weave booties caught my eye immediately. You can see that I wore them in almost picture during this try on session. These booties are normally $150 and they are on sale for $99. If that’s not a steal of a deal, then I don’t know what is. Wear them with jeans, skirts, shorts, dresses, etc. They run true to size. I’m wearing an 8.5.
My Other Favorite Norsdtrom Sale Shoes
Ya’ll! Who knew a t-shirt could make my heart burst? It really is the most perfect tee I have worn in a long time. It is not sheer, has an incredibly flattering neckline and the raw hem at the bottom is the icing on the cake. It comes in multiple colors for only $15. This is a tad over sized so I stuck with a small.
These were the first pair of jeans I picked up and then I loved them more when I saw the price tag during the Nordstrom sale. How often do you find a pair of jeans for less than $45? These jeans have the perfect amount of stretch. And HOLY SOFTNESS! These feel like brushed denim and hug you in all the right spots. The raw hem actually makes my ankles look thinner because they taper perfectly. I am 5’9 and these hit right above my ankle. If you are shorter these will be the perfect length for you as well. They run true to size.
This long grey cardigan is cozy and a definite fall staple. I typically buy a grey cardigan and a brown/camel color cardigan like this one. These cardigans are so versatile and just make we want to roast a marshmallow or sip on coffee in the morning on the back patio.
This scarf legit brings a smile to my face every time I see it…even in July. There are some things BP is amazing at and accessories is one of them. This scarf is gauzy, light weight and the large leopard print pairs perfectly with any top or sweater. Can I admit that I bought a second as a back up incase my original one gets snagged or some how ruined? #mykidsarecircusmonkeys
LAYERED ROSE GOLD TASSEL NECKLACE
I was like a barracuda drawn to something shiny in the ocean when I saw this at the Nordstrom Sale. I scooped it up and have worn it every day since. If I have any bit of advice it would to buy 2-3 extras and save these for presents. FYI Christmas is in 5 months!
OUTFIT #2
On the hanger this looks like an ordinary black sweater top. I thought what the heck and grabbed it. After all, who doesn’t love a basic black top that goes with everything? When I put this on it was soft and I loved the small ribbed detailing. This lightweight sweater can be worn off the shoulder like I did above, boatneck or even pulled forward as a scoop/cowelneck. It may look #basic but it is anything but basic! This runs true to size and I’m wearing a small.
PS. Notice these booties even look amazing with black!
PSS. If you are looking for a shoe with a lower heel, these slides are to die for! I’m hoping mine get delivered Monday!
