Last but not least, our Elf on the Shelf Breakfast. Every year on December 1st our elf comes. We don’t really do the crazy elf antics because, well, Momma doesn’t really have time to scheme up mini elf donuts out of cheerios! However, my little babes get a new pair of Christmas jammies, picture ornament with the year and a sugar filled breakfast of donuts and a smidgen of fruit. I set up their little table in the family room in front of the Christmas tree and let them watch Polar Express or The Grinch Who Stole Christmas while they eat. Last year we had the “pet” come and Paige is obsessed with the reindeer. Pierce named him Snowflake. Paige sleeps with him every night and takes him everywhere with her. She is a bit of a stuffed animal hoarder though! She even treats Walker our dog like her stuffed animal. She forces him into pictures and cries if he won’t stay for her torture…I mean love. All poor Walker wants is a dropped donut or squirrel for Christmas.
