Was anyone Nauti this weekend? I mean Nautical?!?! Nautical summer style is one of my absolute FAVORITE looks. Red, white and blue is so classic and timeless and just screams summer to me. We were back at the beach this past weekend and if you look at the ground in my pictures, you would see that it is STILL raining here in the Houston/Galveston areas. I might have to go full nautical, change my name to skipper and buy a boat if this rain doesn’t stop! We are getting 2-3 inches of rain most days and on the crazy days 18″. It is truly craziness.
As most of you know one of my favorite shopping destinations is J. Crew Factory. They have the look and feel of J. Crew with a friendlier price tag. Don’t get me started with these pull-on, elastic waist shorts. GAH! THEY ARE MY FAVORITES! I mean what adult doesn’t want classy elastic waist shorts? The material is a thick sailor cloth material and they are offered in a few different inseam lengths. I am on the tall side so I get the 5″ inseam. For my shorter friends, you may want the 3″ inseam. I also own these in navy. I have two pair of navy to be exact, because I wear them so often.
This blue and white stripe shirt is just a classic shirt that can be paired with white jeans, shorts, skirts etc. How gorgeous is this necklace? I hate to admit it, but I have been picking out my outfits based around this necklace. I even had five people at the restaurant we at ate compliment it!
I hope you have a great rest of the week! Stay tuned for my favorite island inspired dress tomorrow!
