Spring Must Haves


Happy Spring and Happy Monday!
Spring is quickly approaching for many of us and I am loving all of the beautiful colors this season. Pinks, blues, bright yellows oh my! I realized I have a LOT of black in my closet so this mamma is needing to revamp her closet with some energy and color. I have the hot pink v neck and the flutter sleeve top in green. They are two of my favorite shirts and so versatile. The yellow gingham is so cheery and I love that it can be mixed with blue jeans or white denim.

Here’s a funny story to why I bought the lace up wedges last week… I ran into Nordy to return a dress and I looked like a rag a muffin. I was that frazzled lady with my hair half put up and rubber Old Navy flip flops on. Well, my flip flop ripped so then I was forced to half drag my foot just to attempt keeping my shoe on. It was a sad sight to say the least! I went to the shoe department and told the salesman, I have 800 errands to run and a conference to attend in two hours, what shoe do you have that is cute, trendy, and mega comfy? He brought me these Dolce Vita lace up wedges and they were HEAVEN on my feet. I had to wear them out of the store and I wore them for three days straight after that. No blisters, no mega high heel, just pure adorable comfort on my feet. It didn’t hurt that about ten people asked me where I got them that day. So, if you are a busy on the go person, a mom looking for a comfy yet stylish shoe, or just need a new neutral wedge in your life, these babies are IT!

I am running the Woodlands Marathon Relay today with my best girlfriends. Wish us luck! We each have to run 6.5 miles so it shouldn’t be too painful.

    Absolutely obsessed with those wedges! I have a pair like those that I wore NONstop last summer because of their comfort, I may be investing in some of those myself! Thanks for the great suggestions!

    LOVE this post!! I am beyond excited for spring 🙂 and just soooo praying here in Colorado we don’t have more snow ( March is usually our snowiest month). I want to break out the bright colors, and sandals. I love the collage you made, it makes it super easy to shop! Cute picks 🙂
