Hi Friends! Spring is hopefully near and I am so excited for some sunshine and warmer temps. I’m excited to be joining some of my favorite home bloggers to bring you Styled For The Season Spring Home Tour. If you are coming from one of Mollie of Design Loves Detail, welcome! She is one of my biggest design inspirations and her home is perfection. I love Mollie’s color by number posts and her budget friendly finds. Be sure to follow her on Instagram for daily home inspo.
Today I will be sharing the neutral home decor updates we have made since finishing our neutral home remodel. You can see all the before pictures here to see how far we have come! You can also sign up to follow along with further room updates and spring fashion finds here.
Neutral Home Decor:

Walls: Sherwin Williams Snowbound || Vanity: Sherwin Williams Acier Grey
Our powder bath has probably been our biggest DIY room. Our budget was dwindling so this room required some elbow grease on our end. I found this budget friendly vanity and had our painter spray it grey when he painted our laundry room. The hardware, tile, mirror and accessories are also all budget friendly. Next, we plan on adding a similar black and white wallpaper and sconces similar to this.
When I saw this brass hardware, I knew I needed it! The original vanity came with these cheap looking silver knobs and I knew they had to go ASAP. The vanity did not come with a faucet. I found this gorgeous antique brass faucet for a total steal and love how it completes the entire piece.

Wall Paint: Sherwin Williams Repose Grey
From last seasons Christmas home tour, you can see we added a few things to the living room. I wanted my living room to feel cozy and inviting. I added more warmth and texture by layering our white and grey rug with a jute rug. I also added this faux fiddle leaf tree placed in a woven basket. I added extra texture and warmth with different sized throw pillows, which also have different textures.
Hands down, this is my favorite place to buy pillow inserts on the cheap.
I also love scooping up pillow covers from here and here.

Because our windows are so tall I will need custom window treatments. I plan on doing a simple white linen curtain with these curtain rods repurposed from our bedroom.

One thing I cannot handle is overhead lighting. I prefer light from lamps placed around rooms. This adjustable brass floor lamp tied in with our kitchen pendant. I also placed two white lamps on either side of our tv layered with coffee table books and a large dough bowl.
I love how this spindle leg coffee table fills the middle space of our living room. It is large enough to style but leave enough room for the kids to play games or drive their cars on. For coffee table decor I used coffee table books (see how I score them for cheap here), this tall vase with eucalyptus, a coordinating short vase and round woven tray.
I love the grey wing-back chair in the corner paired with the dark grey velvet pillow. I am looking to replace it with a bigger oversized white chair.
This is the view looking from our kitchen sink area. Next to the grey wingback I added a fun white garden stool layered with the funniest book from El Arroyo. Backstory: This is a popular Mexican food restaurant in Austin, Tx (my hometown) with a cult following for their signs. They recently came out with a book featuring their hilarious signs.
The books are layered with a glass dome featuring my favorite candle and a beaded tassel strand.

Our kitchen layout isn’t ideal but I did the most with what I had and I LOVE IT! We picked these Calacatta Classique Quartz Countertops from Bolfing Brothers Marble are my favorites! We constantly have a handful of neighborhood kids running through here and these counters have been withstood the daily beatings.
Be sure to check out my Amazon shop where all of my favorite home finds are listed!
I have been searching for months for the perfect runner for the kitchen. I finally found this vintage inspired rug runner that has the perfect mix of blues, grey, beige and creams. I added this rug runner pad underneath to prevent slipping.
We left the knobs on the cabinets and added these silver cup pulls. We had a four burner gas stove and replaced it with this Thermador 5 burner cook top.
PS. Do yall have a Nespresso machine? I am obsessed with mine! It’s like drinking a Starbucks at home every morning!
