Cheers to Friday friends! We are heading to Austin to visit my sister in law, brother in law and their kids. Lucky for me, her kids are in high school and middle school so, I have built in babysitters. Austin is where I attended high school so it has a special place in my heart. Not to mention it is a really fun city. This weekend we will do some hiking, boating on either Lake Travis or Lake Austin and then hit the Domain for dinner and drinks.

Today’s look features two of my biggest spring must haves. A denim jacket and a striped dress. A denim jacket adds effortless chic to just about any outfit and probably gets the most wear out of any jacket in my closet. I tend to size up in denim jackets because I like to have more movement when bending or reaching. I am wearing a medium.
Next on my spring must haves list is a simple striped t-shirt dress. This dress has a classic look and can even be worn to work if you add a blazer or lightweight leather jacket. The styling options are endless with this striped dress. Statement earrings are huge this season so I added these adorably fun pom-pom earrings. These earrings also added a fun pop of color!
These sandals were not something I would typically purchase but I wanted something fun, functional and stylish. After slipping them on they were definitely comfy. I wore them to the grocery store and preschool pick up and I kid you not, had seven people compliment them. I love the rose gold/copper color. I also love the white color option as well. The price was a little more than I would typically spend but I knew I would wear them almost every day. If I know I will wear an item constantly or be able to really mix and match it, I feel I’ll get the best bang for my buck.
