Spring is just around the corner and I can’t wait for parties on the patio, kids running around outside and fresh air. As I type this our weather went from 85 to 60 within 24 hours. Luckily, we will be back up to 80 and sunshine by Friday. As a busy mom, one of the easiest pieces of clothing to pull on and look presentable is a maxi dress. If I could, I would have a closet filled with them! Maxi dresses are ususally acceptable at work if you wear a cardigan or jacket. Add a long necklace, short necklace or layered necklaces for a statement. I add a wedge if I am headed to dinner or a party. No party or dinner, throw on those flip flops or flat sandals! The possibilities are endless when it comes to spring maxi dresses.
This nautical spring maxi dress from Vineyard Vines in Market Street was the perfect piece for our friend’s backyard birthday celebration. As you can see it was pretty windy so that made taking pictures interesting. Tassels will also be a huge hit and I found this one at Vineyard Vines as well. I love the natural wood beads and the navy tassel. If you live in the south then you also know the beginning of crawfish season is upon us. How perfect would this spring maxi dress be at a crawfish boil?!?!
If you are in The Woodlands, be sure to visit Market Street. They have so many fun stores and most of their restaurants have patios perfect for sipping cocktails while the kids play in the green space or splash in the water fountains.
