Some of you may have noticed I took a little trip up to Dallas last weekend. I was invited to the RewardStyle Conference or as most of you know them as liketoknow.it. On Instagram you can follow through #rStheCon. The RewardStyle Conference is an invitation only conference for the top 200 tier digital influencers to learn more about their craft and meet with brands who are interested in working with bloggers and YouTubers. As a blogger who has been hustling for only over a year, I was beyond humbled to be invited. More importantly, I cannot thank you as readers and social media followers enough for your support and love. Ultimately, if it were not for you, Haute and Humid would not continue.

The RewardStyle Conference was held at the Hotel Crescent Court this year. The customer service at this hotel was amazing. I also love all the restaurants that were walking accessible. I will break this recap down by day just to add some sanity to all the crazy that went on. This recap may be lengthy, but three days with 200 women in heels and full makeup is exhausting. Bare with me ya’ll.
Party Tip: 90’s Country on Pandora makes every hotel party a little more fun, especially when you are in Texas!
Day 1
The day started off with Megan and Veronika meeting at my house to carpool. These girls are a blast and made the drive so much fun.
Veronika and I got checked in and finally met Ashlee, Liz and Natasha in person. We have talked every day for about six months and finally got to meet in person. It was like best friends who haven’t seen each other in a year and picked up right where they left off.

Funny story- my best friends from Houston actually met Ashlee last year while they were vacationing in Mexico. They told her I was a blogger and that’s how Ashlee and I connected!
All of us rotated in and out taking pictures until four with the amazing Angie Garcia. It was blazing hot and no amount of deodorant was going to save us from the sweats.
Party Tip: Personalized cups for girls trips make great photo props and add entertainment to the party.
Finally we decided to cool down before getting ready by popping some bubbly in our gorgeous Triumph robes. Every mans dream! Women half naked drinking on a bed in a hotel room. HA! Ashlee opened the first bottle and it popped across the room nearly missing Angie’s face and proceeded to gush all over the bed. I may have forgot to call and get the comforter changed out and slept in a wet champagne spot that night.
Next, we headed to the rooftop pool party hosted by Sole Society. The theme was “Night In Tulum”. Watermelon margaritas were flowing and the sun was blazing. I’m pretty sure my spray tan was melting off my body and the amount of boob sweat was unnatural. I won’t lie, at this point I was totally fan girling over seeing some of the “big” bloggers. I envisioned everyone sticking with their own posse but all the girls really mingled and loved meeting each other.
Dress– Under $60. Order one size up. I’m wearing a 6 // Clutch– under $40 // Earrings // Shoes– I wore these all weekend in three different colors. Love the stacked heel!

We were starving after the pool party and headed to Javier’s for Mexican food. Liz is from Connecticut and Natasha is from Nashville so they needed a taste of the good stuff. We ordered nachos and I had a vodka tonic.
DAY 2
We woke up at the crack of dawn with aching feet. Who really wears heels walking around town sun up to sun down? Breakfast was an acai bowl and coffee. Reward Style is a company of finite detail and they leave no stone unturned. They even had the most adorable coffee sleeves advertising the new LiketoKnow.it app.
During the day we took classes and met with brand reps. For lunch that afternoon the theme was “Uptown Picnic” hosted by Banana Republic. We headed across the street to Shake Shack. Personalized gingham napkins, galvanized buckets of field flowers, photo stations, adorable bikes and picnic tables transformed the outdoor space. As you can see everyone is short and I’m a giant!

That night we had a cocktail party hosted by Bumble BFF. This is where I met the incomparable Rachel Parcell. She was one of the very first bloggers and has helped pave the way for the rest of us. I won’t lie, I was super intimidated by her and could barely speak- this doesn’t happen often! Rachel was beyond nice and so easy to talk to. We gabbed about kids and our husbands for about 20 minutes.
White Jumpsuit– True to size. Wearing a 4, the back is amazing! Under $80 // Clutch – $25 // Belt // Shoes – Rose Gold // Earrings // Bracelets // Sticky Bra– actually worked wonders! // Spanx– gotta smooth any lumps and I didn’t want my undies to show in pics!

Party Tip: Always introduce the person you are talking to by name to new guests who come into the conversation.
Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely
We ate at Neighborhood Services. The food was really good and the restaurant had a fun easy going atmosphere. We shared crab nachos (can you tell I love a nacho?) and I had a salad because I needed some vegetables in my life. I of course topped it off with a vodka tonic.
Day 3
When we woke up the temperature had dropped down to 40. We all had on summer clothing and our feet were screaming at us by this point. I started with a dress on but ended up changing into a romper with a jean jacket over it.

Topshop sponsored this gorgeous lunch with real flower garland hanging from the trees and a gorgeous flower wall in the courtyard.
After lunch I had a class taught by Courtney Kerr from Kerrently Courtney. Ya’ll, she is HILARIOUS! She came in with her wine and said it was five o’clock somewhere and she had the funniest comments. What really struck me with her was how she talked about being grateful and thankful to brands, companies and fans. If it weren’t for you all, we wouldn’t be able to do the job we love.
Last but not least was the grand finale black tie party. All five of us roomies headed to the Tangerine Salon for fabulous black tie hair and a much needed glass of champagne…or three.
We quickly got back to the hotel room and got dressed. My initial dresses were too big so Veronika saved the day by letting me borrow one of her dresses. I wore this TwoBirds dress and it was so fun! We watched a couple of different ways to tie it on YouTube and I finally settled on the halter style with a twisted back.

We all headed on fancy buses to the Wylie Theatre. The RewardStyle ushers wore tuxes and we were escorted into large freight elevators to a rooftop deck where we were served drinks while over looking the Dallas skyline. It was a beautiful sight. Next, we were taken downstairs to mingle and take photos, have drinks and warm up. Finally, we were ushered outside where a marching band was waiting. The band played Bruno Mars and marched us all to an amazing tent set up in the middle of the street. Here, a DJ was spinning, French fries and mini burgers were being passed around and a bar was set up on the sidewalk. The entire RewardStyle team spoiled us for sure.
Lindsey and Whitney from The Double Take Girls with Veronika and Me
To end the night Veronika, Ashlee and I took an Uber (our driver was Donna and she was the bomb)! HEY DONNA! We were starving so Donna took us to In N Out Burger. We ordered all the goodness and took it back to our hotel. We cuddled in bed while throwing French fries at each other and reminisced about our amazing time at the conference.
Huge thank you to RewardStyle and all the brands who made this journey a fashionable one and to my amazing husband who kept the kids all weekend and even did the dishes!
Have a Great Weekend Friends!
