With the Kentucky Derby right around the corner, I thought I would share my derby style look for a charity event I will be attending on Friday called Tea on the Lawn. The community of New Danville provides housing for intellectually and/ or developmentally disabled men and women so they can thrive independently in an authentic social culture.
For this fundraiser I knew I had to do it up right when I heard THE Naomi Judd was coming to speak! I found this gorgeous floral Eliza J dress that I also wore to a Baptism the week before. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. I added this beautiful purple fascinator and instantly felt like Kate Middleton! I have been crushing on white pumps since last summer and finally took the plunge in buying some. These pumps are less than $100 and you know they have to be good when they have 289 four star reviews. Don’t need white? They come in about 20 other colors and prints.
No Kentucky Derby party is complete without a signature mint julep. This gorgeous cup belongs to my best friend who had hers monogramed. Could any other cup make a drink look this regal? The mint julep cup is a great accessory to any derby look!
I found a new pink lipstick over the weekend that is my new everyday favorite. It is by MAC and called Pink Noveau. It isn’t shockingly bright but adds more color than a nude.
Cheers to finding your most fabulous Derby Style outfit!
