Happy Holidays!

It’s holiday shopping time and I finally got some of my Christmas shopping done this weekend. I met my cousins in Kansas City for our annual all girls cousins trip and we shopped til we dropped. The first day we went to an outdoor shopping center in Overland Park and scored some great deals. Then, we had sushi for lunch and spotted an ice skating rink. We ran to Target to get socks and I needed a hat and mittens because I didn’t bring any with me. We had so much fun skating together with all the high school kids!!! Luckily none of us fell but we were feeling it the next day.  On the second day we went to the mall and it was crazy busy. We found a couple of things on our shopping list and headed home to grab a bite for dinner. It is always great to spend time with my cousins and have some quality girl bonding.

Usually when I go shopping I want to be comfortable and wear clothes that are easy to take on and off. That way it is easier when I am trying on other clothes. This pink sweater was so cozy but the perfect weight. It also has an amazing price tag so it won’t break your Christmas budget! These gray jeans are of course my favorite and a I own them in black and blue. I was gifted this scarf over Thanksgiving but I included some that look very similar. I love the tone on tone between the maroon and pink. And the most important thing to have is COMFORTABLE SHOES! I love a bootie with a low heel. They look great but are easy on the feet. Last but not least I added some rose gold jewelry. I am really digging rose gold because it adds a different element to an outfit rather than wearing gold or silver all the time. I also love to mix metal and incorporate all three!
